Новости[2014-06-16] Participation of Russian delegation in XVI European conference of Ministers responsible for territorial/ spatial planning (СЕМАТ) of the Council of EuropeRussian delegation chaired by the Deputy Minister of regional development V.V. Gaevsky took part in XVI European conference of Ministers responsible for territorial/ spatial planning (СЕМАТ) of the Council of Europe (June 16-17, 2014, Greece, Nafplion). Representatives of the Ministry of regional development of the Russian Federation have also joined the delegation: E.S. Chuguevskaya, Director of Department of strategic development and state policy in the sphere of territorial planning, her Deputy E.S. Rozhkova, D.V. Rykovskov, First Secretary of the Permanent mission of the Russian Federation under the Council of Europe and expert E.A. Sadovnikova.
The work of the Russian delegation, pressentation of its Chair and members has admittedly made a decisive contribution to strengthening of the positions of CEMAT in the Council of Europe, contributed to the development of a unified and clear position of the member countries concerning the necessity of strengthening the territorial/spatial development in Europe.
The member of the Russian delegation in CEMAT and co-moderator of traditional international round table of the Forum E.A. Sadovnikova conducted negotiations devoted to the work of VII international round table "Topical issues of international regional policy" of XIII All-Russian Forum «Strategic Planning in the Regions and Cities of Russia» in the framework of the conference. During these negotiations agreement on presentation of Mr. Anestis Hargiotis – member of the Committee of Senior officials of CEMAT of the Council of Europe (The Department of spatial planning of the Ministry of environment, energy and climate change, Greece) and of Mr. Luc-Emile Bouche Florin, the Honorary President of the European Council of Spatial Planners was received. Mr. Bouche Florin will make a report about a new Charter of European planning.
